the lithosphere is the rigid and rocky outer part of the earth consisting of the crust and upper mantle, OUTER core and inner core.the lithosphere is always moving but very slowly.
HOW DO HUMANS USE THE LITHOSPHERE:
-humans affect the lithosphere by many ways one of these ways is urbanization which means the increasing number of people that migrate from rural to urban areas.it PREDOMINATELY results in physical growth of urban areas.
land use:
-Agriculture is a important part in sustaining the lithosphere. the lithosphere is the science or practice of farming. this is very important because this is said to be how civilization started and also provides us with food -live stock grazing wich means a method of comparing the numbers and density of livestock grazing and agriculture. LIvestock grazing is important to agriculture and agriculture wich is important to humans wich is used to expand agricultural land -Forestry which is the science, art and or craft of creating, managing, using and conserving and REPAIRING forests and associated resources. Forests are watersheds and have economic, ENVIRONMENTAL and climate control BENEFITS -mining the process or industry of obtaining coal or other minerals from a mine. when we mine e find ore and coal wich we can use to produce PETROLEUM and or gas to enhance human life -urbanization wich is the increasing number of people in a specific area. this is important becaue this is how we populate our counties/cities/states. -recreation wich is an activity done for enjoyment like hiking or playing sports. this is important so we can learn to relax and learn to enjoy life
negative impacts: erosion which is the movement of weathered sediment and weathering wich is the breaking down of rocks has a negative impact on the lithosphere, because if the lithosphere is very rocky and weathering occurs all over the world then for this instance it will be considered killing the lithosphere because of the weathering of the lithosphere . some other negative effects on the lithosphere are earthquake meaning any natural DISASTERS which weather away the earth fraking- which is the process of extracting natural gas from shale rock layers deep within the earth, its weathering the earth but at the same time it makes it possible to produce natural gas, But it uses many gallons of water and it puts chemicals into the water. deforestation-which is clearing earths forests on a massive scale, it takes oxygen away that we need but it helps urbanize and industrialize areas , with a loss of biodiversity and add co2 to the atmosphere overgrazing-which is grazing so heavily that the vegetation is damaged and the ground becomes liable to erosion, With a loss of biodiversity desertifacation-a type of land degradation in witch a relativley dry land and region increasingly arid, loss of biodiversity.
